Belle MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Belle? Belle is an INFP personality type in MBTI, 4w5 - sx/so - 495 in Enneagram, RCUAI in Big 5, IEI in Socionics.

Categorizing all E4’s to only be the “jealous” type is so silly and stereotypical. While yes, envy is an E4 trait but E4’s are not called “Envy” they are called “The Romantic Individualist” MOST unhealthy fours are the most likely to have envy and with Belles case she seems like a very healthy honest four. Plus I just don’t get why most of you are so fixated on envy as your only reason to why she isn’t a Four. Most fours do not even show envy especially Sp 4s or So4 2Vs. Usually it comes out in ways like feeling personally inadequate and a craving toward what they feel they are lacking, which is what Belle does yearning for something better and for someone to finally understand her. Belle doesn’t necessarily have to say out loud “i’m envious of x” to be envious? so/sp 4s are described as: “This subtype is the least volatile and fiery of the type Four stackings. They can resemble type One in terms of their efficiency and practicality. (Which makes sense since healthy Fours integrate to One’s) Although their focus will be more on the emotional aesthetic, these Fours do have a considerable practical side. Less flashy than some of the subtypes of Four, they nevertheless have a quiet charm and developed sense of style. They are likely to value their possessions, to perhaps collect items of personal emotional significance. They may, for instance, have shelves and shelves of books and have a place for each book. (Literally Belle) This subtype can also resemble type Six in terms of having a great deal of anxiety. This anxiety often revolves around concerns such as those surrounding health issues and mortality. Also lends a degree of independence to this subtype. As the Sx instinct is least pronounced, this subtype of Four is prone to romanticize intimacy without actually pursuing real relationships. When healthy, these Fours can be very productive; when less healthy they might suffer from boughts of melancholy or self pity. However often helps these individuals to recognize how their state of mind is impacting their health and well being. This enables them to become action oriented.” Just like Belle, healthy fours are honest with themselves they own all of their feelings and can look at their motives, contradictions, and emotional conflicts without denying them. They can engage in reality through meaningful action. By committing themselves to principles and activities beyond the realm of their subjective reason, fours discover not only who they are but that who they are is good. Healthy fours are more in touch with their impulses from their unconscious. They have learned to listen to their inner voices while remaining open to impressions from the environment. Belle has always seemed like a romantic at heart who marches to her own beat longing for something better. Fours always scout around for the missing piece that will help them feel complete. They believe the only way they can recapture or compensate for their missing piece and finally secure an authentic identity is by cultivating a unique image, one that distinguishes them from everyone else (Belle feels that she is different from everyone else in her village and is seeking for someone to finally understand her). Fours spend many hours in melancholic fantasies, wrapping themselves in a shroud of sadness, getting lost in their fantasies, feeling vulnerable, hurt, and misunderstood by the world (as we can see how Belle is always lost in her own fantasies reading her books and feeling misunderstood by Gaston or just anyone around her etc) The life of a four is primarily shaped by longing, the longing for beauty and the wish the world and life would fit together into a harmonic whole. Fours put their gifts to work to awaken a sense of beauty and harmony in their surroundings. Everything with vital energy attracts them, they grasp the moods and feelings of other people and the atmosphere of places and events. Like Belle she likes expressing her individuality through creative action, eloquent and subtle, exploring her feelings and finding ways of sharing them with others. Now I can understand where the type 9 is coming from but keep in mind that she does have a secondary 9 fix. She just isn’t a core 9. She’s more of a “romantic individualist” who thinks she is lacking than a “sloth” who is asleep to their own identity.
