14th Dalai Lama MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is 14th Dalai Lama? 14th Dalai Lama is an INFP personality type in MBTI, 9w8 - sx/sp - 926 in Enneagram, SCUAI in Big 5, SEI in Socionics.

Here are some quotes, which make me think he is an INFP: Quotes that indicate Fi: “We can never obtain peace in the outer world until we make peace with ourselves.” -> Emphasis of the importance of individual values and being in tune with one‘s own emotion rather than always desiring harmony with others. (Fi>Fe) “Look at children. Of course they may quarrel, but generally speaking they do not harbor ill feelings as much or as long as adults do. Most adults have the advantage of education over children, but what is the use of an education if they show a big smile while hiding negative feelings deep inside? Children don’t usually act in such a manner. If they feel angry with someone, they express it, and then it is finished. They can still play with that person the following day.” -> Deeply drawn to those he perceives, as authentic and innocent, like children for example. He emphasizes on the importance of staying true to one self and not trying to hide one‘s own emotions.(Fi) “There is only one important point you must keep in your mind and let it be your guide. No matter what people call you, you are just who you are. Keep to this truth. You must ask yourself how is it you want to live your life. We live and we die, this is the truth that we can only face alone.“ -> Importance of being authentic with yourself and stay true to your emotions and values. (Fi) “Love is the absence of judgment.” -> As a Fi user he is generally not judgmental about the actions of others and tries to live according to his own values rather than focusing on others. (Fi) “The creatures that inhabit this earth-be they human beings or animals-are here to contribute, each in its own particular way, to the beauty and prosperity of the world.” -> Emphasis on the importance and uniqueness of every individual, rather than the similarities between people. (Fi>Fe) „To conquer oneself is a greater victory than to conquer thousands in a battle.“ -> Importance of knowing one self and being in tune with your own values and emotions is often more important than action in the physical world, in his opinion. (Fi>Se) Quotes that indicate Ne: “Know the rules well, so you can break them effectively.” -> Always searches for new possibilities and breaks through limitations, if necessary to widen the own understanding of the world. But also emphasis on the importance of knowing about societal rules and your own limitations. (Ne/Si) „ It is under the greatest adversity that there exists the greatest potential for doing good, both for oneself and others.“ -> strong idealism and a habit of seeing the potential in even the worst situations. (Ne) „People take different roads seeking fulfillment and happiness. Just because they’re not on your road doesn’t mean they’ve gotten lost.“ -> Different roads and potential for every individual. Everyone needs to find his own purpose and way of live. Not a final destination, but rather many individual ones. (Ne>Ni) „ If you think you are too small to make a difference, try sleeping with a mosquito.“ -> Potential of every individual to make a difference. Use of strange analogies to visualize his message. (Ne) „ Just one small positive thought in the morning can change your whole day.“ -> Believes that every day has its own unique opportunities. (Ne) “It is very rare or almost impossible that an event can be negative from all points of view.” -> Good at seeing all sides of an issue and all the possibilities, rather than being fixated on one certain view. Strong idealism. (Ne>Ni) This are just some quotes, which sounds more like he is an INFP to me. I personally think his interest in science might come from his strong curiosity (Ne), which makes him interested in and understanding of new ideas and inventions. This is an observation I have made in INFPs I met myself, as well as in other fictional characters or real people with this type. Even though he emphasizes the importance of gathering knowledge it is mainly about strengthening one‘s morals and becoming a better person, rather than to deepen the understanding or analytical capacities of the individual. INFPs can have often very strong and unique logical thinking, which is deeply bound to their own values and personal identity. (Luna Lovegood) I can understand the ISTP votes and even voted this way for a time, but I just felt like it didn‘t fit for him. What do you think?
