Purple's true appearance is unknown, but their eyes and hands are visible during gameplay, and a set of sharp teeth is visible when caught by them. Purple roams around in the vents, making rhythmic noise and sticking their hands out of the one they are currently occupying. If you see them in a vent you must avoid touching the water coming from them or they will pull you in causing a game over. If there is no Purple in the vent, the water is safe.
