What personality type is Takashi Mizutani? Takashi Mizutani is an INFP personality type in MBTI, - sp/sx - 549 in Enneagram, RLUEI in Big 5, IEI in Socionics.

I don't see INTJ unless one invokes the idea of 'loops'. Obviously his personality is as enigmatic as one can get, like most aspects of him and the band - but what one can glean from their music, concert posters, etc., I'd guess Fi higher than Te. Ne over Se due to the revolutionary and conceptual nature of their work. 4 over 5, he goes out of his way to create a mysterious identity, avoiding interviews yet putting himself in situations where his presence leads to more rumours than any closure. "Mizutani and his friends were the kind of lads that we still see today in universities: long hair blowing in the wind, freed from any intrinsic value, infused morality, and with the thought that objective knowledge was impossible to obtain. For better or worse, their radicalness and authenticity never fully won the favor of the promoters and partners." Ignoring the potential unreliability of that description, the "thought that objective knowledge was impossible to obtain" is quite anti-Te. I'd say he'd be more likely to be INTP than INTJ, there's a very IxxP sentiment to the band's oeuvre as a whole. From what I can glean he's a Richey Edwards(another 451)-esque figure; both were thoroughly enamoured in political philosophy, embodying revolutionary ideals, totalistic iconoclasm and, of course, purposefully crafting their own enigma (Mizutani hasn't officially disappeared but he's about as close to that as one can be without actually doing it).

Biography

Mysterious and reclusive leader of the underground Japanese rock group Les Rallizes Dénudés. Born in 1948. Died in 2019. The group was formed in November 1967, while Mizutani was a student of literature at Doshisha University in Kyoto. On October 21 2021, the official website of Les Rallizes Dénudés was opened and it was reported that Mizutani had already passed away in 2019.
