Could someone explain why Ni-Fe? I don't see any Fe in him, but rather a tertiary Fi. His Te is also obvious. One way to investigate his functions is to compare similarities and dissimilarities with another character, like Zhang Ping. Both are analytical and introverted. Lan Jue identifies patterns and strategic solutions, thinking several steps ahead. He has a clear goal of proving his father's innocence and works systematically to achieve it. That's Ni-Te. Values organization, hierarchy, concrete data, goals, and efficiency. Chang Ping is exceptional at dissecting and understanding complex problems. He seeks knowledge and truth. That's Ti-Ne.
