First of all, she's not a stupid country bumpkin. She can easily and naturally come up with a good alibi when everyone asked about her engagement to the crowned prince. She's a sweet Ne user who is both creative and gives off ray of sunshine. I am not done with the story, but I do understand why an ENTJ Helga won't see the adorableness of ENFP Hyllian.
