What personality type is Matt McCusker? Matt McCusker is an INFP personality type in MBTI, 7w6 - - in Enneagram, in Big 5, in Socionics.
He stated himself to be an INFP and I don’t see a good reason to push back on that too hard. Matt and Shane, but especially Matt, really enjoy riffing about certain types of people and how they think, specifically regarding intentions and values and how similar or different it is from the way they think. Whether it’s The American Civil War, Love On The Spectrum or just talking about the differences between himself and his wife. One example is on the episode right after Shane was fired from SNL. Matt couldn’t help but defend his personal values as adamantly as possible, while also poking holes and clowning on the hypocrisy of the journalists. It seemed very Fi to me. I also agree that he’s an introvert from how he describes himself in social settings and how he tends to really quiet down on the episodes with guests. Also definitely less present minded than Shane with more of a tendency to completely change the topic when something enters his brain, or zone out when he doesn’t have much to contribute. Their dynamic seems very xNFP and xSxP in my opinion.
