Kyle is an important character in The Enemy series by Charlie Higson. His first appearance is in The Dead, the second book in the series and the first chronologically. He is a minor character in The Dead, and a main character in the Sacrifice and The Hunted. Kyle lived in the Tower of London before temporarily staying at the natural history museum. He carries an axe, and despite his often sadistic nature he is shown to be very loyal to Ed.
