What personality type is 5up? 5up is an ISTJ personality type in MBTI, 5w6 - sp/so - 513 in Enneagram, RCOEI in Big 5, SLI in Socionics.
=== Introduction === 5up is an obvious ISTJ. I can't even comprehend how someone can see dominant Ti in this man. I'm going to do a detailed function breakdown. My main source of information will be his stream/interview with Dr. K, where they go about several topics that should clearly demonstrate his cognition. In my view, 5up looks like a very developed individual so it's not unusual for there to be problems identifying his type, especially because of how private he is. I sincerely hope this makes you consider ISTJ if you don't yet. This argument is also very big so it will have parts, distributed in it's own comments. I don't want to separate it too much though. === Dominant Si: === The most evident aspect of the stream, is how much 5up thinks in order to say ANYTHING. I'm not saying that's an exclusive Si thing, but it should clearly demonstrate a Pi behaviour. He has no trouble answering direct questions or things he need to recall from the past, as it seems he already thought about them, and does it in a very straightforward manner as well which should indicate Te. When he haven't yet thought about a certain question, he needs to stop and think a significant couple of seconds before he can answer it. Not only that, but he is very cautious with whatever information he wants to say, as he also values his security and privacy. Dr. K said: "You sound like you think a lot about things", and 5up answers: "I would say i think a lot before i do anything, to the point of over-analyzing stuff. I notice when i do that when i can think about like 4 different possible ways to go. What if i say something bad? What if i say something good? What if i reveal too much bla bla bla". When Dr. K asks if over-analyzing bothers him, he says: "No". That shows his Si-Ne axis perfectly. Dr. K asks: "Do you think like you're not like the other humans?". Literally 6 seconds passes until 5up answers, and that topic was already in motion. He directly and confidently answers: "Yes". The content of this question-answer is not an argument for Si though, but for his enneagram 5, but i'm not covering this now, this was just an example for how long he usually needs to consider the information he is going to give. Something i wanted to say too but might be actually a little difficult to point out specifically is how 5up, sometimes, has a little trouble understanding what Dr. K (an intuitive) is saying. It's like sometimes he fails to see the "big picture" of what Dr. K is wanting to tell him and actually understand it by some specific thing instead. It strongly strikes me as a reason for him to not be an INTJ. I think that if you watch the interview it will be easy to tell that. === Auxiliary Te: === "Should we get just like, in the main things?" That's literally the first thing 5up says after introducing himself. "I work hard for what i do". He straight up skipped college because he already felt confident enough in himself to start working in a job. 5up said: "When someone is going through a situation i guess, i look at things logically, and find a logical solution rather than an emotional solution. And that translates over to pretty much everything i do in general". "I've always been the person to finish things very very quickly in school". He seems to be very competent, being able to reach every goal he wants to, always knowing the right opportunity to strike and how to do things. Te is not exclusively about having return, making investments or profit. Te users also have hearts, lol. 5up is also very capable of managing a group himself if he wants to, but his enneagram 9 seems to hold him down if he is around friends. He also admitted he is very good at herding people. I didn't find a lot of specific Te examples, but i think it is very clear and obvious in a general sense.
