What personality type is Mina Le? Mina Le is an ISFP personality type in MBTI, 3w4 - sp/so - 351 in Enneagram, SCOAI in Big 5, IEE in Socionics.
i'm genuinely surprised by her typing. "INTJs can be interested in fashion" yes yes yes absolutely yes, anyone can like anything, but that's not why she's not one. Her videos to me always seem like she jumps to conclusions based on her personal beliefs and simplifies data to fit her worldview a lot - she has a very strict sense of personal right and wrong. I can't provide a direct example, but a lot of times in her videos she tailors facts and data to her belief system and you often can see how Mina often puts her personal experience with things as an important point when critiquing like in a "tumblr girl" video or in a "balletcore" one. There's nothing bad about it of course, but her thinking is more of a tool she's slowly developing, not how she lives. Compare her to Karolina Zebrowska who's probably an INTP or at least an IxTx 5 (I honestly think she's a TiSi ISTP) fashion blogger - Karolina is much more technique oriented, her speech is methodical and impersonal, she's specifically focused on a very little pool of niche things and concepts, she often calls out misconceptions about past created by todays agendas and in general has this "it is what is is" mindset when it comes to past - a lot of the time you can't even pin point her direct preferences or attitudes towards things and in general when you watch her you get the sense of distance between what Karolina talks about and herself because she strictly judges things on how accurate/not accurate they are. That's not like Mina at all, she doesn't share that impersonal attitude thinkers have. In her recent Euphoria video she often appeals not to what could be objective criteria to judge a show on, but to ethical problems with the show itself and its production, which are all very valid concerns, but this is a "value" feeling approach, not "accuracy" thinking one. Her whole "marie antoinette" video was based on a premise "who cares if it's inaccurate? i like it!" and in general you often can hear words and phrases in line with "i like it", "i don't like it", "but that's to my taste", "that's what I would prefer", "I don't think it's right". Her videos often carry a sense of spontaneity- you can see that she was touched by some topic and decided to make a video on it which to me indicated more P over J. Mina is very in touch with trends and current popular movements in fashion and pop culture and primarily focuses on them, not her existing database of things she knows and is good at. She learns very quickly and manages to talk about everything from history of teeth surgery to tv shows - her Pe is definitely higher than her Pi. I'm not sure about S/N dichotomy, but I definitely see Fi dom. and i'm so confused by E3 i'm not even getting into that. She's smart and analytical, but in terms of MBTI there's not a thinker bone in her body.
