I can see why one might think Fe, but I honestly see a lot more Te in her actions. A lot of wives get voted as Fe users just because they are generous and giving but we really need to detach the idea that only Fe users can act that way. We should also keep her role in her family, her relationship with her husband and the time period in context when considering types and here I feel this is extremely significant. She is not the most assertive person with her husband and is extremely considerate of her daughter, but as we see through the show, this is because her husband tends to neglect her point of view, and her and their daughter most of the time too, completely. Being in the situation she is in, while we do see her get annoyed with him, her vulnerability and her perception of her "duty" to her family (Te-Fi) makes herself hold back more than she should. I think we see a similar dynamic with Greta in terms of how she does things she doesn't want just because her husband wants to, but again, this doesn't directly make her an Fe user. Honestly, even I was originally under the assumption that she was an Fe user but her way of helping others with their problems/facing her own problems is very direct and solution oriented in a very Te manner, instead of one that promotes the person affected to change their view of the situation or provides them with encouragement as a strong Fe user would. When Danny loses his job, she is the first to suggest for him to run for office. When Greta confesses to her about feeling embarrassed at the aerobics class, she leaps to suggest she give her personal classes. While she obviously tries to satiate the other person's feelings as she helps them with their problem, her actions are not primarily oriented to help the person through their emotions and neither is she dependent on others for the same. Additionally, her strategising to get more signatures for her aerobics class really revealed her Te and some INTJ-esque traits. The fact that she didn't pay attention to the other members of her previous class or her teacher shows some disregard for Fe in terms of her not caring to show "politeness" in the context and just being there for a singular purpose (Fi). That whole episode reminded me of Beth Harmon from Queen's Gambit tbh. Also I know that her inner dialogue is truly the result of an eating disorder, but even in that, her constant blunt judgements of other people and herself point to unhealthy Te-Fi.
