David Kibbe MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is David Kibbe? David Kibbe is an ESFP personality type in MBTI, 3w2 - so/sx - in Enneagram, SCOAI in Big 5, in Socionics.

Anyone who has read any of his works or is familiar with his system knows that he is NOT a Thinker. He pioneered the Kibbe body types in order to help women cultivate a sense of individual beauty [Fi] by accentuating "God-given features" (advocating for the appreciation of a “static” sense of physicality points to Se). Also he vehemently denouncing scrupulous image-crafting in favour for holisticism in crafting your appearance (this is basically the main idea behind his system of Image Identities). Like you need to have a good sense of your essence and the vibes your self-image gives off. And, he thinks, you can't do that by micro-managing or focusing on any small part of your body. If you compose yourself in a cohesive, and "holistic" way, you can optimally expose your inner-essence or unique energy to the world. [Se/Ni paired with Fi] Here are some quotations from his 1987 publication "Metamorphosis" (in which he first introduces his Kibbe system). "There is nothing contemporary, modern, progressive, or free about toning down everything special that Nature blessed you with in order to facilitate mass-marketed conformity! This is the Age of the Individual...!" [Fi] "... Real beauty is... self-expression. Appreciate the unique creature you truly are... express your uniqueness... you will be beautiful beyond your wildest imaginings!" [Fi] "This is a journey of self-discovery, self-appreciation and self-expression." [Fi] "You need to learn to see yourself in a different, more objective light [in order to enhance your appearance]" [Se-Te] "What you perceive as 'flaws' are not flaws at all.. they make you special.. separate you from looking like everyone else..!" [Fi/Te] "Beauty comes from accentuating your uniqueness". [Fi/Te] "Image Identity [has a ] descriptive name... to create a 'total look' that is a visual expression of all the wonderful things you are.." [Se/Ni] [Allegory he uses for creating your "look"]: "Before you begin casting the actors or deciding on sets.... you need to sit down with the script and analyse it to determine its message, its viewpoint or meaning. Then you have to use various production elements to clearly focus that viewpoint so the underlying message is given a tangible form that can be clearly seen, understood and enjoyed by everyone who views it." [Ni vision catering to Se Dominance] "The problem with [traditional beauty theories is that] they have no unifying concept to tie the elements of your appearance together" (basically this entire paragraph sort of shows he has no Ne/Si breadth.. case in point, see next quote) "They should work [like a] well-constructed play... rather than being composed of many conflicting themes... announcing its own unrelated intentions... your clothing, hair and makeup should all be working together in harmony, expressing one singular message: your special essence!" Bottom line: holistic approach > isolationistic approach. Also there's an entire chapter dedicated to the "need for an objective system" and the importance of "looking at yourself objectively". That's all I got
