ESFP. He seems to be very competitive and his actions from gathering the mob looked very much like Te. Originally thought he was ESTJ because it looked like he had Si, seeing how he bases them off from things he only knows or has been shown throughout history (unicorns and pegasi painted as bad) as opposed to Sunny who thrives off Fi and optimistic Ni (possibly ISFP). But then I realized it only looked like Si because he's an Se-dom; he was feeding off the validation he was getting from his fellow earth ponies, and this lead to him getting immersed heavily in the present sensation and experience of rampaging around in a dangerous vehicle - Se at its finest, losing himself in the moment. His inferior Ni wasn't able to foresee the irreversible damage this would cause due to how immersed he was in, and so his mother had to step in. Perhaps Sprout looking for appreciation towards his mother actually indicates his Fi - this is why he comes off childish, since Fi seems to have a reputation for being somewhat innocent. Sprout comparing himself to Hitch should pretty much tell you his insecurity and need for validation.
