Ok, so I am still between 7w8 and 9w8 for her core type...I think I could really see both in her performance after Simone Biles stepped out because she sort of took the responsibility of leading the team, and I think because it was routine at this point (her exercises)..it definitely appears that she was able to sort of use that to calm herself down..and just get into it (especially when she did really well on bars). Also, 7w8...I mean I think that's self-explanatory, but essentially, she remained upbeat and positive, and even though she could have just given into the turmoil, she remained calm and was able to allow herself to enjoy the experience!

Biography

Sunisa Lee, or Suni, was born on March 9th, 2003 in Saint Paul, Minnesota. She is of Hmong descent and is a senior elite gymnast that has been active on the national team since 2017. Suni represented Team USA in the Tokyo 2021 Summer Olympics alongside Simone Biles, Jordan Chiles, and Grace McCallum. During the all-around final, Lee hit all four of her routines and recorded the highest uneven bars score of the day to win the gold medal. She is the fifth consecutive American champion in the event following Carly Patterson, Nastia Liukin, Gabby Douglas, and Simone Biles, and the first Asian-American champion.
