What personality type is Luthier? Luthier is an INTJ personality type in MBTI, 1w2 - sp/sx - 153 in Enneagram, RCOAI in Big 5, LII in Socionics.
I personally think he's more likely to be 1w2 over 5. First off, he's very dedicated to his magical research, to the point of being extremely perfectionistic about it (basically seeing it as his "duty" to not waste his magic potential; He's learning mostly because of this devotion, not general interest in magic). Perfectionism and diligence is not necessarily exclusive to 1s, but the information we have on Luthier is limited, and I think superficially at least, he fits the general behaviour of 1s pretty well. In addition to that, 1w2s can be prone to butting into other peoples' lives because they think they know what's "best for them". It's essentially the combination of 1's desire to do things properly and 2's desire to help other people that results in quite the cursed combination when it comes to letting people do their own thing lol. And that's basically what he's doing in the game: He cares about Delthea and wants to help her, but he ends up forcing his own world view on her when she doesn't really care, which is why they have trouble getting along.
