Chandramukhi seems to be an INFP. I think we can mistake her for an ISFJ since these two types are a little bit similar, but I don’t think she’s one. Her heart and her feelings dictate all of her actions, and that’s much more a Fi thing. She’s the softest character in this movie and one of the most open-minded in my opinion (with Chunni that I believe is an ESFP). Fi types tend to be more accepting, and they only follow their own rules. She’s devoted to Devdas and loves him with all her heart, without excepting anything in return. This kind of love really reminds me of how an INFP can be passionate with his/her partner (to the point of hurting themselves or being treated badly lol). I do think that she’s an Fi dom cause she’s only devoted like that to Devdas (but she admires Paro and that makes sense, cause she’s the most important woman in Dev’s life), and if you pay attention, you can see that she only gets angry when someone go against her personal values. Per exemple when people only view her as an courtesan, but not like a human being. She’s not afraid to speak when she finds someone is mean to her (when Devdas wanted to pay her because she took care of him, as if she only did this for the sake of money… also, when Paro accused Chandramukhi to use Devdas for his “youth, beauty and fortune”) or the people she loves/care about (when Kali Babu humiliate her and Paro in front of everyone, after the Dola Re Dola dance). Her main preoccupation when she meet new people, is to show them she have a heart too. She’s goofy and kinda childish (she likes to make jokes or tease people she appreciate/love), really easy-going, mature and wears her heart on her sleeve. She’s confident and mentally strong, and INFPS (in my opinion) tend to behave like her when they are assertive. I love Chandramukhi so much, she’s my favorite character in this movie. I think she has the worst situation ever, and yet never complains. She deserve better.
