i just think it represents so9's desire to hang out in groups, whether with friends or family. well, merging is more of the proper term. this manifests in traditions such as christmas carols and night masses. it also relates with their passion of participation. people somehow are motivated to help out in preparations, or give gifts to others. hosting is also in demand this season. especially that families get together and have feasts. i can also see hyperavailability and workaholism. this is bc ppl have to work hard to give good christmas service to everyone.
Biografie
An annual holiday on the 25th day of December commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ (though much of it is on the 24th night, as that is the time when Jesus was supposedly born and when most traditions take place). It is often accompanied by traditions such as gift-giving, Christmas-tree decoration, putting up or admiring Christmas lights, a Christmas feast (often accompanied with special Christmas foods), the anticipation of Santa Claus, advent calendars, family reunions, carolling, nativity scenes, a Christmas church service, baking Christmas treats, Christmas cards, watching Christmas films, and visiting Christmas markets. Of the world’s 197 countries, around 160 commonly observe Christmas in some form, and countries often have their own traditions for Christmas, such as Italy’s famous panettone and the Japanese eating KFC.
