The Bear S03E08. The people-pleaser tendency to make everyone feel good, everything is okay, everything goes smoothly because her mother made her feel under appreciated. She felt dismissed because while her intention was good, she was seen as a nosy and a pushover. She was just trying to calm herself (a reflection from asking everyone's okay) because everyone was shouting, she always felt like she was in the wrong, in danger, that it was her fault everyone was shouting. The whole dialogue with her mother in the hospital was so real, i could relate to her on a deeper level. "I feel like everybody's mad at me all the time. I ask people if they're alright way too much. If someone feels sick, I start to feel sick. I feel alone. Or ugly. Or like I'm in trouble. I feel like Pete's gonna leave me. (Donna: But that's irrational). Okay but it's exhausting too. I always put you first. Always. (Aw that's sweet). No it isn't sweet. It's f-ed up, Mom. I'm always trying to make you happy. Mom, I'd make myself sick to make you feel better. Do you understand that?" > Fe dom, Si aux, and also a trauma response (Fe-Ne loop) from the family's (especially Donna's) anger issues. She is such a sweetheart.
