Edit: For those voting 2w3, she's definitely a 9w1. She's in the positive outlook triad and not the image triad, she doesn't radiate social energy as an image, she idealizes people and things in an overly optimistic way (e.g. she thought DFQC would stop wanting to kill if he had his emotions restored) but her hopes shatter when faced with reality. She assumes the good in people and not what they actually are (e.g. Jieli said she scammed her money, and she was like nvm we're still best friends.) She's very agreeable, seeks for harmony and sees herself as insignificant in front of the bigger things. --- It's a bit difficult to type her since INFPs and INFJs do share a lot of things in common, and a lot of her traits happen to fall into the overlapping points. Arguments made for either type can easily be applied to the other. That being said, I will try to argue for INFP. She is a peacemaker and tries to mediate conflicts, but that alone does not mean Fe. More than anything, she tries to find clarity in what she personally values, who she is, and follows through it no matter what. Her strength lies in her unwavering courage to follow her heart and will, regardless of what others say. She understands all parties in a conflict (again, both Fi-Ne and Fe can do this, and an Fe argument would still make sense), but personally I think her openness comes from her seeing each person as their own individual. “DFQC has his values, but I also have my own values” pretty much concludes her stance. She lets DFQC stay true to his values, does not try to change him, but she does what she has to do anyway. And if their goals happen to contradict, then it becomes a matter of who will win the strategic battle (Fi-Te axis). This was her approach in the mortal realm. Plus, I don't really see Ni in her. She doesn't do long term thinking. She does what she feels like at the moment, such as running towards Chang Heng while being in DFQC's body. I also see that she uses Si to make sense of things. When she tried to solve the mystery of whether DFQC's father loved him, she made use of her past knowledge in the form of particular details. She specifically looked for the zither that DFQC gifted to his father, because that object has a personal significance to them that is tied to their past. She brings both the zither and the football with her, thinking these objects will be the key to restoring their relationship. When DFQC saved her from the thousand illusions, he said he would always recognize her and find her no matter what. She said her master once said the exact same thing to her, and this sentence has a personal significance. Even though DFQC said the same thing, it was under an entirely different context, so an Ni-Se user would not likely connect the two together, because the same fact in a different context (Se) would mean something different (Ni). But for Si-Ne, factually similar things (Si) can form patterns (Ne) no matter how remote they are in context. Simply the wording of a sentence is enough to trigger her past experiences like deja vu. Ni wants to find out the meaning of something in substance, while Si interpolates a meaning on something based on sensations experienced in the past. For inferior Te, what she struggles with most is impracticality. She is an idealist who does not like war, but due to being too individualistic and open, she is unable to manage the external environment to achieve anything. Her values prevent her from doing a lot of things. “I can't change this person”, "I can't go through with killing this guy (even though she already put the poison in)", "now I have to save that guy too", she has these moral decisions that are often made on the spot, showing her principled and at the same time spontaneous nature, but this also prevents her from achieving goals properly. When she realizes her incompetence, she feels immense guilt over it. Despite knowing DFQC and her have conflicting values, she chooses to marry him anyway, without having found any solution to the conflict. I think her philosophy is that as long as she follows her heart in every given moment and improvise when problems arise, she will eventually get to the right place. Another Te example is the way she handled the Moon Tribe people who were against her becoming first lady of Moon Tribe. Instead of using skills of emotional affect (Fe) to change their perception, she decided to prove her ability and worth according to their laws (Te). Lastly, she is Se blind over Se inferior. Even though Se is inferior for INFJs, it still impacts them a lot because it's still in the stack. It explains why INxJs often cannot concentrate on one thing when there is a lot of surrounding stimuli. For INFPs, being Se blind means they are almost oblivious to Se. When they are looking at one thing, they completely lose sight of everything else. XLH is an airhead, she accidentally hung herself on a tree while flying towards Chang Heng.
