After reading his interview in 1883 magazine made me think he’s more of an INFP. I can see a lot of Si coming out in that interview. The interviewer said: In a past interview you said, “being offered the part of Eddie was disarming” and “made you paranoid that The Duffer Brothers were going to think they made a mistake.” Now that everything is out and fan reaction is rampant – it’s obvious it wasn’t a mistake. Has the experience made you trust yourself more? I would say, professionally: yes. I think it’s very gratifying to know that I didn’t ruin Stranger Things [chuckles]. That’s quite a nice feeling. You have to doubt yourself, I think. You can’t doubt yourself too much because when it becomes too crippling you’re lost at sea but I think if at any point you’re thinking that you’re making it, you’re probably in trouble. So, has it made me trust myself? A little bit, but not much. That sounds like Fi/Si loop thought process. I definitely think his Ne is very high and prominent. You can see it radiating off of him. His Fi is also well developed. He gets emotional very easily but is awkward about it. I think a lot of INFP’s as they get older and mature look and act like ENFP’s (I can attest to this in my own life). You can see his Ne come out the more he’s getting out of his shell but I think it really comes out when he’s with people he’s comfortable with. Part of why I originally thought INFP was the way he answers questions. He starts rambling on and really stutters on his words like he can’t get out what he really wants to say just at the end for him to go “what was the question?” Or “did I answer the question?” ENFP’s are like that too but I find most of the time they ramble on but they know where they want to conversation to go and they know what they are saying. Joe just kind of rambles on and hope he gets there lol Also, even before he makes a joke or interrupts he thinks about it before he says it. From my experience with being friends with and having family members who are ENFP’s, they just say things without thinking. Just because they can. Joe contemplates it and then says things. He also feeds off of Jamie. I feel like he’s good at reading a room and deciding whether or not it’s appropriate to say something around certain people. Ne doms don’t care so much.
