Just wanted to point out sth that I've seen in many profiles and is so ******* annoying and irrational: "He manipulates people and plays with their emotions, so definitely Fe user!" There's huge misconception that only Fe users can manipulate people. Or in other words, anyone who manipulates somebody is a Fe user. Which is simply false. Yes Fe users (unhealthy ones) are prone to be good manipulaters BACAUSE they have the ability to read other people's emotional desires and act upon them and use them just as they want. But Te users CAN be great manipulators too. Which is a fact people may ignore.. Te users are goal oriented and objective which makes most of them to do anything to achieve their goal. So they CAN manipulate too and most of them are such good manipulators.. Example: if you're Harry Potter fan, you're familiar with Tom Riddle, a textbook INTJ. He's admired by his teachers, because not only he's Smart, he's charismatic too. He's polite, and exactly knows what to say in order to lead others and make people do as he wishes.. He manipulates people easily. But he's in no way a Fe user (if you watched or read the series you know what I mean). As I said, Smart Te users can be good manipulators and analyze how others feel then act to their own benefit.. Understanding other people's emotions is not a magic only Fe users can do. It's just that this comes more naturally for Fe users than Te users. So stop typing every single manipulator as a Fe user. If you want to indicate Te vs Fe in a person, look out for other aspects of these two functions,, because literally everyone can be manipulative if they truly want to.
