I’m not sure if this is a popular belief, but I never got the impression that Amos was truly a mean boy like Julian, Miles, and Henry were. I got the impression that he didn’t truly agree with the mean things his friends were doing to Auggie, but that he just went along with it anyway, in order to have their respect.
