Nemesis, also known as the Masters, is the main antagonist of the Horizon franchise, and a corrupted AI entity created by the Far Zenith colonists on Sirius. It was the one who caused GAIA's Subordinate Functions to become AI's, effectively setting in motion the events of the franchise.
