Micolash is an insane man raving in the night he also simultaneously the closest anyone has come to ascending that we know of (ignoring the hunter of course). He teaches at the school of Mensis yet has acess to the Augur of Ebrietas indicating either he knew all about how the choir operated or somehow got into contact with ebrietas his own self but for some reason also seeks to end ebrietas as he sends Damien to kill her most likely for research or possibly to use Roms corpses time bending abilities. In the paleblood hunt he is said to be a student of Byrgenwyrth and Willem who formed the school or Mensis as an alternate method of thinking but I always doubted that he seems far too young to have been a part of all that. His dialogue implies he seeks ascension to understand the cosmos better the whole "grant us eyes" thing so "we may yet see the inside of our head" seems to follow with it. In deleted dialogue he refers to Rom as an down-side up fool implying roms failure to ascend iritates him since he seeks to do so himself. Despite all this he doesn't seem to want to harm Mergo which is strange because the wet nurse is who keeps the secret to ascending also somehow not bring hostile to Mergos attendants who help him in the boss fight. The ethereal walkers (puppets dudes in his boss fight) almost seem like they are based off of Frankenstein's monster Micolash ties with electricity are also plentiful The tiny tonitrus found near the corpse of a choir member (likely captured by Micolash and the school of Mensis) and the darkbeast Paarl present not too far away from yahargul further more Micolash Wears what people have theoriezed to be a Faraday cage usually useful to protect whatevers inside from electricity by redirecting it (though in this case Micolash will get fried cause it's just in his head) Leads me to theorize that it was micolash himself (or at least the school of mensis) who created the walkers or even bring the one who supplied Mergo with the attendants. He also could be the one who wrote the head shuddering note near cathedral ward.
