Fi does not mean "emotional", "neurotic", and "sensitive". Those are all stereotypes, and at that point you might as well be using 16p dichotomies. I was one of the first ENTP votes on this page a long time ago. No, I did not base it off of "Comedian=ENTP." Now that I see many people are disagreeing again, I will give a brief explanation on why Bobby is an ENTP. Ne: Bobby's entire comedic motto is to just go with the flow. His entire state of being is just instinctively knowing what he needs to do to get a reaction out of someone. He has an unconscious understanding of how he needs to interact with the external world. Every function I will explain from this point forward will be filtered through Ne. Ti: Incorrect Ti doesn't mean you have no Ti. Some of the most illogical, and ridiculously unsound people I know are Ti doms. Someone with strong Ti can easily build an entirely wrong system of logic that no one else besides them understands. More on this later. Fe: Oh boy, does this man rely on his Fe. WAY too frequently, we see Bobby attempting to people please. He is dipping into this childish Fe, and bases his morals on the people he is with/ trying to impress rather than any internal emotional value. A good example of this is when the "I Want to Be Ninja" woman was on Bad Friends in order to "justify her actions". The entire time, Bobby sided with her, while Andrew dug at her implicit racism. Bobby latches onto other peoples morals and nearly never has any of his own. I personally believe that any seemingly strong moral convictions Bobby shares without any original external input is just a bit. While I have already stated my distaste for Fi stereotypes, even if that IS the truth about Fi, Bobby being sensitive and neurotic is usually just a bit. Si: Aspirational/Inferior Si is apparent in his story telling. (Si doesn't mean the past, that is also a stereotype.) He always attempts to base his story telling in a very "I felt this sensation." manner as what I assume to be an attempt to relate the story to more people. I could bring up how Bobby consistently grips, usually in the idolisation of his addictions. He is milking that aspirational Si a lot. Every single thing he has done as a "hobby" outside of performance is because of how it makes him feel internally. Video games. Smoking. Drinking. They're just feel good comforts for him that frequently turn into addictions. Ni: I will say that one of the things Bobby does best is inherently knowing the correct thing to do at the right time. I believe this is a mix of both intuitive functions. More specifically. Ne dominant and Ni opposing. PERFECT example of Ni opposing is when performing, and things start to go wrong, he instinctively tries to remove articles of clothing to calm the situation. He has even said that he doesn't even realise he is doing it most of the time. When someone calls him out for it, he has a very brief moment where he's like "what am I doing". (Refer to the Mexico 'Just For Laughs' Show Fiasco. Multiple people call him out for trying to strip. He doesn't even register he's doing it until someone brings it up.) Te: Man has such critical Te. As I stated above, he is always trying to connect his logic to the external world. He is very stubborn, and doesn't like to be told what to do. I believe that this stems from his critical Te in the sense that he doesn't want other people to decide his internal logical framework of how things should go for him. When someone else criticises him, he snaps back angrily saying they don't know anything. He get's extremely petty when someones plan doesn't fit his. Fi: This is so apparent it hurts. CLEARLY deceiving Fi. He has consistently brought up how good of a person he is, or how he is wanting to be a better person and is making a change, and that only lasts until the sentence is out. As I stated before, he has absolutely ZERO frame of internal emotional values or moral compass. From bringing up his sexual assault just to get laughs, to casually talking about another celebrity he knows... purchasing a boy for the night in Thailand and then asking for a refund due to a... physical issue. (Early # Bad Friends Episode) There is NOTHING Fi about this man. He is extremely neurotic, sensitive, and emotional, sure, but he doesn't value his emotional reasoning at all. Any emotional reasoning from him is short bursts that are quickly forgotten. Se: I think the best example of the role in the stack that is defined as the "last resort function" is Bobby and his desire to engage in the physical world when things turn to ****. It really is Bobby's go to. Outside of that, I don't see Se in him at all. I think his addiction also tethers on this line. Typically one would associate addictions that involve external sources as Se. I am not entirely sure where that process begins for Bobby. From what has been shared about his last, most recent relapse, he seems to do it more from an Si perspective than Se.
