It's sad how type 7, one of the most intuitive and idealistic types, gets painted as a shallow partygoer who has no care for their future. It's sad and there are probably so many 7s who literally doubt they are 7s because they aren't as superficial and stupid as stereotypes depict them. Mfers be saying sht like "wahhhahahhh there are so many stereotypes" and yet deny any Ne dom as a 7, some of yall make me sick. Anyways, 7 is pretty much the poster ENxP type (ENTP for particularly 7w8). I believe integrative 9 is one of the best enneagram sites so let's read this quote on how they depict 7s: “The future is full of exciting possibilities and I must experience it all! I’m ok; I deserve what I want. What’s next? I must move forward; I must have my freedom.“ Wow, that sounds very Se. They are focusing on potential and want to explore them all, and once they get bored of those ideas they move on to the next. They want to remain hopeful and be in-tune with potentials that are optimistic. It's so Se it's not even funny. /s I mean, I won't deny that Se can be 7s because of course there are plenty of Se dom 7s, Se does behave similarly to Ne. However, the fact that 7s are normally stimulated to generate a multitude of ideas and seek out novelty while also getting bummed and pessimistic over repetitiveness just screams Ne dom. 7s were always future-oriented, they want to focus on what's next and anticipate positive outcomes which makes the visionaries. It’s their way of protecting themselves against any perceived pessimism or conflict, by distracting and constantly seizing opportunities or other ideas that arises.
