Byakuya is ILE like Senku. However, Byakuya is SO7 ILE and Senku is SP7 ILE and the contrast between them is one of the most beautifully illustrated father son pairings in the series. Byakuya's SO7 is written into his bones. His entire post petrification arc is a masterclass in SO7 sacrifice logic. He does not hoard, he does not scheme alliances for personal survival, he gives. He creates the Hundred Tales, gathers rare metals for millennia knowing he will never see Senku benefit from them, officiates weddings, adopts orphaned children, comforts Lillian in her despair and dies alone panning a stream with his last thoughts on his son. Crucially, the SO7 does not sacrifice out of pure selflessness. The recognition matters even if the audience is imagined or posthumous. Byakuya performs his sacrifice for Senku's eventual gaze across thousands of years. The coded messages, the record, the time capsule; these are theatrical gestures of devotion carefully arranged for the moment Senku discovers them which is exactly the SO7 pattern of constructing a saintly image to be witnessed and admired. He wants Senku to find all of it and know: "my father was extraordinary". Meanwhile Senku, who is an actual SP7, operates from an entirely different gluttony; strategic, alliance building, opportunistic and relentlessly self preserving in his grip on scientific advantage. He networks Taiju, Chrome, Gen, Kaseki and Ryusui into a functional family mafia of mutual utility, never exploiting sentimentally but always with clear eyed calculation about what each person provides. He hoards knowledge like a resource, leverages cola and ramen as currency and maneuvers every relationship toward survival and scientific dominance. Where Byakuya dissolves himself into service for an imagined future witness, Senku accumulates people, skills, leverage, options in order to keep his castle well stocked. Same ILE Ne-Ti core, completely different instinctual flavor driving it. Byakuya is ILE. Ne leading is all over him. He's the one who refuses to accept that petrified humanity is just gone. He looks at a seemingly hopeless situation and immediately sees possibility and potential where nobody else does. His entire life's work after the petrification is essentially one massive long-shot bet on an idea (Senku waking up thousands of years later) that he has zero concrete evidence for. That restless orientation toward possibility over evidence is quintessential base Ne. Ti creative shows up in how he actually operationalizes that intuition. He doesn't just hope. He builds systematic structures to make it real: the Hundred Tales, the coded messages, the mineral collection, the time capsule. He thinks through what Senku will logically need and prepares accordingly even across millennia. It's irrational vision disciplined into functional frameworks. Fe mobilizing is very visible. He's a natural mood-maker literally selected as an astronaut partly for that quality. He uses humor and levity constantly (the Lillian prank, teasing Shamil with ramen). He doesn't generate the emotional atmosphere himself so much as he creates conditions for it to emerge which is exactly how mobilizing Fe works rather than leading Fe. The Shamil arc is almost a textbook ILE moment. He breaks through a stoic, resistant person not through force but through persistent warmth and fun until the wall comes down.
