Te: Charmander is extremely goal orientated and has shown time in time out that he's willing to do anything to achieve his #1 goal of evolving and becoming stronger. He is bothered by inefficiency and hates the fact that Pokemon have to take turns to fight, because he thinks it is slowing down his personal progress on the path of evolution. Everything about Charmander is evolution, progress, evolution, progress, rinse and repeat. As someone who frequently lets his desire for progress erode other people's morals and beliefs, Charmander is definitely a Te-dominant Ni: Charmander may seem like someone who acts rather recklessly but upon further analysis it is clear that his so-called "reckless" actions aren't that reckless after all. Yes, he may have cruelly murdered many throughout the webseries but they were not without purpose. He murdered Pablo the Caterpie because he was slowing him down on his path to evolution by making him fight a meaningless battle. He murdered Red because he was constantly mistreating his friend Squirtle and making him do less-than-savoury things. He murdered Hitmonchan because he was fighting for a human who desperately wanted to capture Charmander. All of his murders, while "reckless", were not without purpose. They contributed to Charmander's end-goal vision of evolving into a Charizard. As someone who is willing to sacrifice anything for the sole purpose of achieving his grand conceptual vision of evolving, Charmander is definitely an Ni user.
