“In the real world I don’t answer to you, not today or tomorrow~” Vic Mackey - Episode One Vic values his freedom and autonomy more than anything else. He also deals with information as it comes in, and adapts to those circumstances (Se). Most of the incident incidents of the series is a result of Vic's "in the moment" decisions (such as murdering fellow officer Terry Crowley, the Armenian Money Train, etc), and Vic's methods in avoiding the consequences of those actions (Se-Ti). Vic has a hard time thinking through those big decisions, and prefers to deal with the situation up front, and then work out the logical details afterwards. These traits make him extremely adaptive and quick thinking, but his inability to think out the long term consequences of his actions (inferior Ni) leads to his eventual downfall at the end of the series. While Vic could avoid the authorities in the short term by emotional manipulation (Fe), loopholes and violence , those inciting incidents come crashing down regardless of what he does.
