Even if Ines does have her flaws, she once again proves to me that INFJs are gods among humanity. MBTI —> As the first comment under this profile has already very insightfully alluded to, it’s very intriguing how Ines’s Ni comes through as compared to the majority of Winden’s population’s Si tends to (very understandably, not meaning to suggest that Ni is superior to Si) have their understood reality of stability challenged, whereas Ines’s Ni sought to get a more a abstract interpretation by accumulating and converging what she learns about Mikkel’s predicament. —> Otherwise, auxiliary Fe for sure, more so negatively coming out in her childhood in her more pretentious behaviors, but then she later mature into the goodness of Fe by being genuinely considerate of others and working with her Ni to genuinely understand and connect with Mikkel, but then faulty Fe came back up again into over-protective possessiveness when Egon came in to ask her about him in Season 2. —> As for tertiary Ti, again, probably working with Ni to try and logically dissect what’s taking place with Mikkel’s predicament, but it isn’t as forefront of a priority of her more social charity through Ni-Fe and then maybe inferior Se in not having a realistic grasp on her possessiveness over Mikkel and even into old age in her absence and secrecy from Jonas and Hannah. ENNEAGRAM —> 2w1 makes sense, her desire to be loved probably being concentrated into her desire to make Mikkel her own as came up in more challenged tension with the foster care person who came into the hospital, especially with her initial child having died in birth and with how much of an “Arschloch” her father was. —> I don’t know, she seemed pretty mature by the time of adulthood while she was in her career at the hospital, perhaps having more readily attained self-awareness in the likeness of Enneagram 4 and maybe such can be sort of explained in her old age as Jonas’s grandmother, just simply by a matter of aging into experienced wisdom. —> Otherwise, her disintegrative decline into an unhealthy 8 likeness was more of a reserved thing as compared to someone like Martha‘s more outwardly angry outbursts, no, it came out more in the sense of more selfish possessiveness over Mikkel and holding to the secrets from her family into older age. PERSONAL THOUGHTS —> Despite Ines’s more pressing unhealthy 8-like flaws of possessiveness, she is much like Tannhuas in the same way of being a “safe” favorite character of mine - Tannhaus being a Ne gateway into more “open-minded” acceptance of the abstracts of time travel, and similarly Ines with her more interpretative approach to understanding the situation… —> … :/ …thus, I dig myself a grave and expose to the world my iNtuitive bias, but I digress; I wish we got more screen time with older Ines as, ah crud, I’m having a challenging time finding a quote that she spoke to of Jonas when Jonas himself confronted about keeping Mikkel her secret —> Although… I should make sure that my own inferior Te doesn’t blind me to how wrong it was for Ines to drug Mikkel using religious reasons to provide justification for her relationship with Mikkel, that was pretty fucked up Thank you.
