The entire film is devoted to comparing the work of two cops: one incorruptible, fair, honest, and moralistic, and the other corrupt, arrogant, vile, and brutal. Jake himself is a shining example of a Fi base in cinema: he knows what's right and what's wrong, and when he helps others, he does so out of a sense of duty, justice, and altruism, unlike Alonza.
