God, now that I'm older than the kids in this movie, I realize how much I acted like Seiji when I had a crush on someone in middle school. I never accidentally insulted anyone, but trying to seem funny/intimidating is such an IxTJ teenage thing. I also went around and memorized strangers' names to "impress" (and accidentally scare) them. That scene where he just leaves to work on his violin so that Shizuku will come downstairs and be impressed with his talent is also the most painfully IxTJ teenage move ever. Biografie
A Junior High School student (but in a different class than Shizuku), Seiji has dreams of becoming a luthier (a violin maker). He decides to travel to Cremona, Italy to work with his grandfather's friend.
