Lucy van Pelt, Charlie Brown's antagonist in the cartoon series "Peanuts", is a caricature of an unredeemed ONE. She is constantly busy trying to change the whole world (and especially the eternal loser Charlie Brown), and refuses to accept a world that is not perfect. In one of the stories of this series, we will experience together that unconditional love is the only force that can redeem ONE such as Lucy. Lucy laments how bad the world is and how unhappy she is. Her brother Linus reminds her to sometimes also think about all the things she could be thankful for. That will only burn her! There is nothing to be thankful for! To which Linus says, "At least you have a little brother who likes you!" She looks at him for a moment and then sobs around
