I feel like the reason people think he isn't an sx dominant four is because of the fact that the majority of resources regarding the sx subtype of the four are rarely anything but negative. And I'm not talking simply mentioning pitfalls, and doing the same for each subtype, no, sx is the only one that gets villianized to the extent from which I've seen. They only show what it looks like when unhealthy. I also feel like we see both his sx dominance shine quite a lot, as it's mentioned multiple times that "He never let's a question go until answered", as well as his habit of speaking of and holding his feelings in strong importance, while not letting anyone else sway them without reason. Both being distinctive traits of the sx fours habit of asserting their needs, which in this case, could be to have his thoughts and feelings heard. Another thing that I've seen noticed by someone else, was the fact that after he had learned that the rose had lied to him, he left in hopes of finding the same connection with someone else. That's why it sort of confuses me as to why people think he's sx inferior. The entire reason he felt such a sense of sadness was because he realized that he wouldn't be able to find the connection he had wit the rose, with anyone else. He craved an intense, one on one connection, with someone. That being the literal definition of what makes up an sx subtype at it's very basis, that's not something you can ignore. There's nothing I can think of that indicates a need in him to be integrated and accepted into groups, something that's integral, from what I know, to every social subtype. If anything, he seems to have an inherently negative view of social groups which I think comes from his observances of people as well as his experience with the fox. Edit: I still agree with him being sx dominant, but to clarify my second statement, what I said could be taken as so/sx or sx/so. However, I don't believe his behavior comes from a need to gain understanding from others of his strong emotions, to gain acceptance; I think it can be attributed to the sx 4's natural need to state their needs and have them met. In every instance besides his relationship with the rose, fox, and pilot, he never seems to care how his emotions may change his relationship with another person. He doesn't care much about anyone that he does not have a sense of connection/intimacy with, which I feel is a far better example of how I don't understand how a person could think he wouldn't be so inferior.
