I understand the 1 votes, but I personally think he’s a mainly counterphobic 6, occasionally slipping into phobic 6 (which is why he’s way too trusting and loyal to Iago). Still, 6s in general tend to shift between “obedient, loyal dog” to “flagrant rebel” quite easily, which I believe explains his willingness to trust anything Iago says, since 6s often consider such loyalty to their friends as important character qualities, whether phobic or counterphobic. His slow downfall into violence corresponds very well to a counterphobic 6, though, as he lets his paranoia, distrust, and insecurity erupt into violence and projection, a very “who can I trust and who’s betrayed me” mentality that absolutely characterizes unhealthy counterphobic 6s. He reminds me of Hugh Jackman’s character in the movie Prisoners, who goes through a similar degradation that leads to senseless violence. I’m surprised no one has said as much, but I’d be more than happy to hear 1 arguments!
