here's the thing, he is very guided by his emotions the whole time, in a very Fi unhealthy way, looking to get his way during the whole trip, changing the direction of the map to achieve his own purposes and serve his own feelings only, I would also say that there is a bit of inferior Te affecting in the way he seems to want to achieve respect from peers, a very Te purpose, which as an inferior Te user I also shuffle a lot between going my own way and when stressed trying to figure out what people want from me. I just don't see the Ti Dom. And also I agree that his insecurities relating to fitting in could possibly come from E6.
