Raven is an strong INTJ exemplar, with potent Fi. Raven truly values and trusts her ideals and although she isn’t vocal about it, she constantly seeks to “do the right thing.” Even though she has demon blood, she always tries to be an good person, which is the reason she joined the Titans. She knew she was different, she knew that she had the capacity to be evil, but she still chose to be an hero. What sets apart her Fi from her Fe is that she isn’t trying to prove her goodness to others; Raven is trying to prove her morality to herself. She doesn’t listen to what the world might deem as good or evil like an Fe user, she dives inside. All her life, she has been reminded of her capacity for evil and her fate to end the world. But her own ideals have never weakened. After all, there’s a reason Robin called her “the most hopeful person he’s ever met.” Raven is also clearly an Ni user. She sees things very linearly, one straight line, cause and affect. Raven very rarely ponders possibilities and doesn’t have the scatter brained thought process of an Ne user. Ni is often described as “knowing without knowing how.” It’s often about reaching conclusions with limited information. It’s like how Raven was immediately distrustful of Terra, and ended up being right. Ni users are wise, convicted, and always have a plan to work toward a bigger picture of the complex systems around them. You can’t tell them what to think, and you can count on them to always be processing in the background.
Biografie
The half-human daughter of Arella Roth, a human woman who managed to find her way to the other dimension of Azarath/a native of Azarath (the show isn't clear) and Trigon the Terrible, a dread and powerful demon lord who intended to use Raven to open a portal that would allow him to enslave Earth. As a result of her race, Raven has powerful telepathic and psychokinetic abilities that are destabilized by her emotional level — in other words, if she fails to keep her negative emotions (positive feelings are okay or else her friends would have been the source of about six Apocalypses throughout the show's run) tightly in check, her psychic power runs rampant, breaking and destroying her surroundings until she calms down. Presumably due to her birthplace, she is also versed in a wide variety of occult lore and a skilled practitioner of magic. She also has the power to astral project, dispatching her soul from her body to teleport herself or others, and to heal, though it's left unclear if these are Psychic Powers innate to her or mystical powers she has learned from her studies. Because of her background and powers, Raven is a solitary, quiet individual who prefers to avoid interacting with others much, but displays a biting, acerbic wit and a love for sarcasm when she does.
