A computer program that took the form of a teenage girl that doubles as a god...a lot to take in there, but she makes for a quid essential INTP. What is Lain? Lain is everywhere. That phrase itself encapsulates a Ti-Ne connection that I frankly can not describe myself. Perhaps..it's about the connections that can be made, from a constructed idea that builds upon combinations and possibilities. Which..sounds like how Lain learned more about herself, others, and the world around her. Lain is like a walking network, and she has different egos that make up her identity that affect the world around her. These egos definitely encapsulate how different each type can be portrayed, specifically in her case INTP. Even though all Lains are different, they all display qualities of an INTP, and is also why I'm glad her egos don't have separate profiles. One that is aloof from observing the world, one that is adamant over the information she obtains, one who toys with the emotions of others to understand something. Si, being one of her "lower" functions, aka tertiary, was her way of picking up observations in the world around her, and being able to add that into her foundation of understanding, like entering data. For Lain, processing the information around her left her every much pondering in the real world, but in the Wired, it's one of her quickest traits. I believe the fact her inferior function being Fe has to do with this as well. Lain in the real world had to deal with processing the understanding of forming friendships and learning the importance of them. In the Wired, Lain is about requiring factual knowledge, and using said information to understand, which also is enhanced from being a 5w4. (continued in replies)
