Dom Ne - His entire MO is centered on esoteric knowledge and quick-thinking creativity. He always has tricks up his sleeves for a number of different possibilities and his communication style is based heavily on metaphors, abstract rants and argumentative humor. Aux Ti - J.C is the definition of an out-of-the-box thinker. He has his own problem solving style that is impossible to mimic. The most famous encounter involving holy water and wine is a great example of his Ne+Ti mastery. The Ne+Ti thirst for knowledge also shows in his desire to learn forbidden and dark spells. Tertiary Fe - Dom and Aux Fe manifest very differently from Ter Fe and Inf Fe. You will find that the most common descriptions used in cognitive psychology for Tertiary Fe are "roguish charm" and "manipulative" (which explains the ENTP and ESTP trickster/rogue archetypes so well). John has an abundance of both. Inferior Si - He hates routine and is disdainful of doing things "by the book". He also gets bored very easily and is at his best only when he faces Ne challenges, rather than Si ones. Overall, I would say John is a very clear ENTP. I understand the ISTP votes, since the movie's portrayal of him was VERY different. I get the INTP votes as well, since Ne+Ti and Ti+Ne traits are often too similar to tell apart. But when we look at all 4 of the primary cognitive functions, Dom Ne, Aux Ti, Tert Fe and Inf Si make so much more sense than any other combo.
