Flint is a perfect example of how INTJs aren't just a bunch of emotionally stunted strategists. Even though he tries to hide it, he has a great deal of passion and intuitive insight, with his obvious Ni-Fi axis, and he arguably feels more deeply and profoundly than any other character in the series. He uses his secondary Te to understand and predict how his peers think without especially caring how they're feeling, prefering to focus on his own emotions and goals, and while his inferior Se is mostly repressed, it comes out with a vengeance whenever he's angry or under great stress.
