I understand the arguments for INFP, although I think they are really arguments for 4w5 instead. Based on The OA alone, i think she’s Ni-Se because the entire show revolves so much around universal truths across different realities that are supposed to make us understand the one that we’re in. You see the same theme in Another Earth, where its dream-like sequences are a long, observational meditation on guilt. Always some knowledge about another reality that reveals something obscured in the one that we are in or some kind of collective unconscious. Her concepts are drawn out of details in the real world, and even when relating concepts, the ideas are tethered to some vision of reality. There’s always a unifying subtext to a series of events, a subjective pattern formed out of several related phenomena. I think Ne-Si would take a phenomenon and relate it to another phenomenon in a more divergent manner.

Brit Heyworth Marling (born August 7, 1982) is an American actress and screenwriter. She rose to prominence after starring in several films that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, including Sound of My Voice (2011), Another Earth (2011), and The East (2013), which she co-wrote in addition to playing the lead role. In 2016, she co-created, wrote, and starred in the Netflix series The OA.
