I don't know whether to put INTP or ENTP. His future prophesying is very Ne based because he represents how the future can change so easily, like the changing tide of the sea. He does not represent a deterministic sense of the future, ineluctable fate. So I suppose he should be ENTP (Ne) dom then. But here is my issue. He would always flee from anyone who sought him for a prophecy. He'd shapeshift into a seal or other aquatic animal and then the seeker would have to wrestle with him and pin him down in order for Proteus to finally prophesy for him or her. This suggests that he is introverted and does not like people. So I'm not really sure whether INTP or ENTP makes more sense. Definitely one of the two though. The fact that his prophesying is personalized to the person suggests a certain level of Fe. So I guess I'll go with ENTP for now, inferior Si.
Biografie
An early Greek sea god, sometimes called the god of "elusive sea change", reflecting the sea's constant changes. Like many gods and goddesses, he suffers from Multiple-Choice Past, but he is a herdsman of Poseidon's seals. He has the ability to predict the future, but he constantly changes his shape, so that only those who can catch him will get the prediction. From this, we get the word protean. He lives on the island of Pharos off the coast of the Nile River Delta and his primary purpose was to be caught by other heroes and used to help them solve their problems.
