Nah, still not really Se base or Se dom, even though adventurousness might sound sensory at face value (e.g. the layperson might associate it with risk-taking, hedonism, or literal adventure in the mountains or caves). This is one of the major misconceptions about adventurousness on this site that leads many to conflate it with materialism or hedonism. It is still fundamentally a preference for novelty and unexplored possibilities, which is more along the lines with Ne perceiving potential in the original and unpaved roads, rather than Se being more visceral, crude, and present-oriented. For instance, Ne bases will explore an eclectic range of music no matter if it immediately gratifies them or not, often being particularly into unique or esoteric artists, while Se bases are less adept at deferring immediate stimulation/gratification, and aren't as likely to branch out from music that prioritizes reflection or complexity over raw intensity or rhythm. Overall, adventurousness can be distilled as a desire for breadth and variety in life - "living life to the fullest", which again aligns more with Ne always searching for potential and possibilities (especially IEE's Ne- primarily noticing lack of realized potential/lack of excitement/"character", driving change and variety) than Se's narrower focus on immediate subjugation/control of the environment.
