Persönlichkeit

"Welcher Persönlichkeitstyp ist {profilename}? {profilename} ist ein {MBTI} -Persönlichkeitstyp in MBTI, {enneagram} - {iv} - {tritype} in EnneArgram, {big5} in Big 5, {socionics} in Socionics."

Casaubon - INTP - "He was a little too buried in books - he didn't know the world." As a reclusive academic, Casaubon was not an INTJ. He exhibited little to no exercise of the knowledge he possessed, and sought knowledge for the sake of knowledge and to prove his intelligence (5w6). He cared little for the world around, save books. There is no pragmatism or environmental mastery in him. Casaubon spent his life trying to write a book, finding more and more and more information before deciding he needed yet more. And Dorothea was able to look in and - after only being briefly exposed - see that the world Casaubon built didn't map on to the real one. His first real effort at systemically achieving his goal emerged in the face of his imminent mortality rather than his natural inclinations. He is perhaps the most one-dimensional character in the novel, and that dimension is Ti. There is additional evidence of his inferior Fe in the unhealthy presentation of his emotions and conflict management, and in his reaction to his world building being challenged; however, I believe the presentation of Ti and the emphasis on abstract ideas is sufficient for making the claim that he is an INTP.
