Angelica Schuyler Church was a prominent member of the social elite during the time of American Revolution. She is the eldest daughter of Continental Army General Philip Schuyler, sister to Elizabeth Schuyler Hamilton and Margarita "Peggy" Schuyler Van Rensselaer, and sister-in-law to Alexander Hamilton, a prominent figure in American History. She eloped with her husband, John Church, and moved to Paris to begin a family after the war's conclusion.
