Tantai Jin enters the Wise and Fleeting Life dream (Bore Fusheng 般若浮生) of Ming Ye and lives as him. Ming Ye (冥夜, míng yè) is the powerful God of War and leader of the Upper Immortal Realm who sees it as his duty to protect the world. He marries Sang Jiu after she rescues his life in exchange for her divine essence.
