Why i think he is ENTJ instead of INTJ, because as story mentioned he is not good talker, always dark aura with surrounding. Yet functions is not working like . Beginning he has aim to gain knowlodge from deaths. Necromancy and he can do anything for get that goal, even kill his grandson(i do not know which generation). Although he helped him to revise to this world. He just sadistic and it is very high Te weak fi or unhealthy fi. Secondly he wanted some power from old antic world. He can think the way of occult or alchemist. İt require insight and he probably gain knowledge through just insight . Yet he always goal orianted every time he focus on job. He is not social and he does not care anything else. He do not do that for curiosity (at least i think) as Charles Ward . But honestly i do not know him to analyse why he seek power or really he had other goal.
