I am studying Latin in school and I would definitely say ISTJ. First of all, Latin is a “Te-language”, especially if one is translating Latin. In order to do so, you must analyze the words and sentences very carefully, because every word has an attached “rule” to it. Latin consists of an extreme amount of rules and ways to translate words in Latin, for example a noun. Rosa = rose in Latin. In English we would say: “With the Rose”. But in Latin they use cases for each word. So the case for Rose as a noun in Latin is just “Rosa”. But as I used in the example (“with the rose”) where I made use of an adverbial (which is called the “ablativus” in Latin), in Latin they do not use words as “with the”, but they use the cases to refer to the right function of a word. So the adverbial case of the word Rosa in Latin is also “Rosa” and could also be translated as “with the rose”, which could be very confusing and that is why you must analyze the words and sentence as a whole because you have to decide wether it is just a noun or an adverbial by looking at what is said in a sentence. You really have to look at the context in a sentence in order to translate the words correctly. What I have just explained is only the basics of Latin, so imagine how many rules there are yet to discover. This also explains why Latin is rather an “Si-language” than “Ni”, because you have to learn a lot, remember it and finally recognize it in a sentence, which is basically the skill you have to develop when one is studying Latin. In conclusion: Latin is definitely Si-Te.
Biografie
Latin carries an implication of importance, classiness and mysticism. Despite being a dead language, it retains an association with magic, religion, politics and science. It is the language of those who know secrets and have uncovered ancient mysteries, and creators use it (or something that sounds like it) for those associations. The Latin Language is still taught and utilized for many people and it's the root of numerous living languages today, making it both accessible for creators/audiences and maintaining the connotations with magic (Stage Magicians using pseudo-Latin incantations like "hocus pocus"), religion (Latin is the official language of the Catholic Church), law and debate (e.g. legal terms such as "habeas corpus" are in Latin, argumentation tropes and logical fallacies have Latin names), schools and school-based organizations choosing a Latin mottos, and science (The tradition of Greco-Romanism is most exemplified in the field of taxonomy).
