It really depends on where you live. In my country where there liberal democracy is publicly despised and censorship is prevalent (to the point that every political orientation test is blocked), most ESTJ I know cannot care less about politics. Entering it for their own career is possible though. It's not an interesting subject for a Te dom, because it most likely yields no result. Taking a purely theoretical interest in it is more of an intuitive thing, especially among Ti-Fe axis users. In my experience, xNTP and xNFJ, along with some INFPs are very likely to be interested in politics. At least they know what left-right means, know their own political orientation, have some knowledge on political science, and watch some form of local and global news. Yes my bar is set very low lol
