Rather than "useless" I would say "pointless" though... It's useful for corporations, employers and the government since it educates children into diligent workers but mindless humans. We learn to do what we should to survive and nothing else, ideas are a waste of time and productivity is priority. For the students, though, it's pointless. We are told school is good for us because it educate us, but we study a bunch of useless subjects, we don't learn about important things, we forget most of what we study and develop a negative image on knowledge and learning... Pointless efforts.
